About This Guide
An independent reference for people trying to put a banner on a TikTok profile — and for people trying to work out why they cannot.
What this site is
A reading guide, written in English for a US audience, that separates three jobs people describe with the same phrase: a profile background image, three pinned posts that read as one wide picture, and sticker art. Each has its own page shape because each has its own answer.
What it deliberately is not
- Not a TikTok product, and not endorsed by TikTok. The name is a reference to the subject being reported on.
- Not a banner maker, splitter, generator or download library. There is no upload control anywhere on this site, because the tool does not exist.
- Not an availability checker or unlock service. No website can see which features your account has, and a page claiming to do so is guessing.
- Not a live status feed. Nothing on this site updates itself, and no availability badge is generated automatically.
How the writing is kept honest
Every claim is graded before it is written: official, third-party study, third-party guide, screenshot estimate, or unverified. The grade decides the verb. Something reported by users is written as reported; something no source confirms is written as unconfirmed, even when every competitor page states it as fact.
Two consequences you will notice. There is no official pixel size for the native profile background on this site, because none could be confirmed. And the update section carries a review date set by hand — not a countdown, not a country map, not a percentage.
The full ledger, including what each source cannot support, is on Sources and methodology.
Contact
A contact mailbox is not published on this build yet. Until one exists, this site collects no messages, offers no form, and cannot accept submissions — that is a gap to close before launch, not an oversight to work around.
For problems with the TikTok app itself, including a control that appears or disappears, use TikTok's official troubleshooting and in-app reporting (external). No third-party site can file that for you.
Trademark
TikTok is a trademark of its owner. This site uses the name to describe the subject of its reporting, with its own name, artwork and layout, and a standing non-affiliation notice. It does not use TikTok logos, icons, app screenshots or interface copies. That reduces confusion; it is not a legal clearance, and nothing here should be read as legal advice.
